My thought process when deveoping the test questions was that the students will be able to analytically describe the characters and events in the story. On a high school level students should be able to identuify main characters, plots, and, metaphoric symbolisms. The answers to the test questions may vary widely yet the overall process of analysing the contents will be evident in the answers.  These questions will help identify strengths and weaknesses in the areas of comprehension, analysis, and application.
